In the Jason Aaron run, does the hammer work differently or did they change how the hammer works? Because it sounds like Odin doesn't have control or power over it anymore, and or that something is more powerful than him that can overrule his control. Is Odin weaker now? After he came back from his death during the Fraction run, it seemed like he was MORE powerful (He was able to take on Galactus and magically resurrect people.). I'm just wondering if this has been explained. Thanks.

1. hammer changes: apparently sentient; talks to jane-thor; thor can't wield; odin can't wield.

2. Odin: no real showings to say whether he's weaker, but has a low end showing fighting jane-thor.

3. hammer "leaving": nick fury told thor that "gorr was right" (another way of saying that no god was worthy), which caused thor to have a pity party with himself for 3 years running, and now he can't wield it. goes by odinson now.
