The reason Hydra Cap was able to lift Mjolnir was because his Madam Hydra with just a "sliver" of the cosmic cube was able to change the inscription on it so Hydra Cap was worthy. So in the future does that mean any cosmic being can take control of the hammer by changing the writing?

If you could replace Thor's name with Hydra could you also replace it with "Hulk" or anyone or anything else ?

I think this better explains why Thor wasn't able to lift up the hammer, the inscription got changed fom he to she, and since he and odin arent women, they cant lift it. Its a better explanation than "Gorr was right", and would have been a way to show that Thor was actually worthy but it was someone Messing with the hammer.

I would disagree with the woman part somewhat, but manipulation by a powerful being would make more sense. Although, Odin should be able to tell that sort of thing.

Really, it would be a better explanation to say that Fury's whisper woke up the mother of storms and it was whomever she wanted to lift the hammer at that moment that was causing Odin and Thor to fail. That makes more sense to me at any rate.

Gorr being right was a bit stupid. I mean that realization would and should cause some soul searching for Thor I think. Not to the degree it did and how it was handled and should have had no impact on Thor. His worthiness was through deeds and character more than anything else. Gods being useless and petty things has no impact on Thor being worthy. Just that gods, as a whole, are probably jerks. And that seems right for a number of them.

Look Raist bunnies...
