I found it silly that compared to He-man, who was supposed to be the "most powerful man in the universe", She-ra seemed to be a tad stronger (rarely straining whenever she would do some strength feats, unlike He-man), and her power sword would have the basic powers of He-man's sword, but it can also change to various other weapons.

In terms of the villains, Hordak was Skeletor's Master, and the latter villain was just the apprentice. In the show, She-ra would always remind He-man that the evil horde were more of a threat than Skeletor and his evil minions. Whe Skeletor and Hordak face off, Hordak always seemed more powerful.

As for replacing Adam...well, she did in a way. She-ra replaced He-man as the lead in the show. Yes, I know she was in Etheria, and He-man was in Eternia, but the "Princess of Power" show replaced "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe". If you read the Dark Horse Complete Classic Animation Guide book, the Princess of Power series count as Seasons 3 and 4 of the Masters of the Universe series, and there were constant guest appearances of He-Man and the other denizens of Eternia, with She-Ra as the main hero.

As for people liking Adora....well, I don't. I accept no substitutes. I like the original. I refused to watch later episodes of She-ra just because I do not like He-man playing second banana to his "twin sister" and he sword of honor (ugh! A stupid retcon...there was no hint of another sword from Greyskull and no hint whatsoever of another child by King Randor and Queen Marlena in the Masters of the Universe series).

It wasn't rammed down our throats as badly or as blatantly as the current SJW posse of Marvel did with Ass-ron's stunt. There wasn't the media fanfare like Cancer-wench got. I can't help but wonder if cancer wasn't a factor in Ass-ron's agenda, how "popular" (notice the quotes) this garbage would have actually been.
