It wasn't rammed down our throats as badly or as blatantly as the current SJW posse of Marvel did with Ass-ron's stunt. There wasn't the media fanfare like Cancer-wench got. I can't help but wonder if cancer wasn't a factor in Ass-ron's agenda, how "popular" (notice the quotes) this garbage would have actually been.

...but for me, replacing He-man as the main protagonist to the MOTU continuity is pretty much "ramming it down our throats".

I don't know why you must contradict what I am saying here. It seems to me that we both hate Jane Thor. And that's my original point..."I am getting a he-man/she-ra vibe"....which is exactly like She-ra replacing He-man as the main hero of the MOTU continuity in seasons 3 and 4...even if He-man was still around, he was no longer the focus of the story.

No media coverage? It was the 80s. What did you expect? Children's cartoons was not that big of a deal in terms of mainstream media was concerned back then, unlike comic-related properties nowadays. The term SJW was not even in existence back in the 80s. But She-ra replacing He-man really irked me, and that's exactly how I feel about this new Jane Foster nonsense.
