...but for me, replacing He-man as the main protagonist to the MOTU continuity is pretty much "ramming it down our throats".

I don't know why you must contradict what I am saying here. It seems to me that we both hate Jane Thor. And that's my original point..."I am getting a he-man/she-ra vibe"....which is exactly like She-ra replacing He-man as the main hero of the MOTU continuity in seasons 3 and 4...even if He-man was still around, he was no longer the focus of the story.

No media coverage? It was the 80s. What did you expect? Children's cartoons was not that big of a deal in terms of mainstream media was concerned back then, unlike comic-related properties nowadays. The term SJW was not even in existence back in the 80s. But She-ra replacing He-man really irked me, and that's exactly how I feel about this new Jane Foster nonsense.

We definitely agree on a lot of things on this matter, I just don't view Adora in the same light. Adora wasn't written out the "stories" countless times due to being a useless character. She actually had a backstory that was thought out versus a concept that destroyed 50 plus years of amazing continuity. He-man might have taken a "backseat", but he wasn't destroyed and emasulated by a Femi-Nazi pushing a weak-ass concept.

Ass-ron gave Jane cancer as a plot device in order to give her some kind of "worthiness" characteristic showing her refusing to be cured, but willing to keep using the "Mother Storms" power (it sure as hell isn't the power of Thor anymore with Ass-ron's retconning Mjolnir's origin) despite it "killing" her.

So, I see your P.o.V. but slightly disagree with the correlation on similariites.
