Did not really need a filler issue. I mean they happen and can be useful. I just think they probably could have gone the route of showing preparation intermixed with some action. Maybe an engagement force sent out or something too.

I would say this issue could be skipped almost entirely. The bottom line is that Mangog shows up at the end, and Jane does a lot that would piss of people who hate her.

Yeah, this issue was pretty plain to me. I expected something a bit more. I would agree that this issue was skippable.

I must say, the wake of Freyja was...convenient. No, it was the most skilled healers in Asgardia that help, but rather Jane's own words. *sigh*

Speculation: I assume that Malekith would wait after the wrath of Mangog to attack Asgardia. More than likely, the troops would be weak and barely be able to withstand Malekith's army. (This would probably be where Jane and Hercules arrive with the Olympian Gods to save the day).

Or Malekith would begin his raids on the realms when Asgardia is occupied with Mangog. This would grant him the best advantage in winning the War of The Realms. Well, until Jane comes of course.
