...like I said, that can be fixed....by revealing that the God Storm is not the  power source of the hammer. It's just a malevolent entity which corrupted mjolnir. To fix the reveal that the power source of the hammer is the god storm could be a new reveal that it was all just a big fat lie.

Even for comic books this would be far fetched, it would make a mockery of Thor and Odin. It also makes no sense for Odin to capture a storm, trap it inside Mjolnir and not use its power. It would a potable jail for the storm? Why do that?

    Quote:
The others who wielded mjolnir did get weather powers because they are  imbued with the Power of Thor. "Whosoever, if he be worthy, shall possess the Power of Thor". The weather power is part and parcel of being the god of Thunder. So, that power source is not the Odin Power. The enchantment which enabled the wielder to access the power of thor is the worthiness enchantment placed by Odin.
Marvel has tried in the past to clear this up but for me still messed up. When Thor holds Mjolnir he doesn't get his own power back because he is his own power. The hammer would just give him extra abilities apart from his storm powers. When someone else who is worthy holds Mjolnir they become Thor in essence (I think minus the Godblast since that comes from Thor himself ). So the Odin Force copies Thor's power and imbue the holder with that power. This was the way I understood it. With the God Storm, things have changed somewhat making the hammer have storm powers similar or equal to Thor's innate storm powers. If that's the case then Thor should be twice as powerful as he is now or his powers weren't that powerful to begin with and the hammer made up the difference? Which is it?  I think this has not been flushed out and explained properly. This is why the God has got to go IMO.
