I may have simply not seen it due to not following the book for the most part. I am not sure what Aaron is trying to convey but to me it makes her seriously unworthy. Watching her mother die from cancer should make her more than happy to accept any cure magically or otherwise.

What's worse, she is leaving behind a daughter. Who would place more value on 'I do not want to be cured by magic' over 'My daughter will not have a mother or a father or a brother'? This just doesn't make her unworthy, it makes her a lousy parent.
How can she not trade off her ideals for the greater good in this scenario, and expect everyone else to feel emotional when she says she is sacrificing her life for the greater good?

I do not blame the character at all, I just blame the piss poor, lazy writing.

My problem with the whole Thor Foster situation is that the character has been written so poorly. While the larger plot has been nice, the actual character building has been very very poor.

More so than the real Thor coming back or anything like that, I want Aaron off this book. Bring back Kieron Gillen.
