Well since no one has started a thread please allow me to give a short review. It sucks! However once it was over I had to laugh a bit. Last week the ranch and the nation-both groups of survivalists with a huge armament to call on- ended up trapped in the emergency shelter. Hiding behind RVs not having worked. They then find that the sole air conduit is blocked by something(guess by what) and carbon monoxide poisoning will kill everybody in two hours. I guess shooting some air holes in the door was over looked. Someone has to crawl through the ventilation system. They will need two hours to get there and get back. First no such shelter would have one air distribution system and one easily blocked to boot. The two heading to the block have a tight schedule but have plenty of time to stop and discuss the guys rage issues and how his family died.
Turns out they really should have kept moving as a few minutes may have saved lives. Alicia had sent everyone into the shelter in the first place, decides to preserve air those already bitten need to be euthanized. Not a bad decision as they would die and turn anyway. The victims agree and after much agonizing the deed is done. Alicia then discovers-and you gotta love this- she had miscalculated and almost everyone in the shelter is already dead! Of course we then get a scene of zombie killing showing Alicia has become a real though mentally disturbed badass. Speaking of deranged persons Troy and Nick have hatched a plan to invade the ranch and pull the walkers away. Nick who apparently can not learn the stupidity of trusting troy has him drive the truck on the attack and Troy promptly crashes into a RV and Nick loses his ammunition as they manage to get inside a broken down helicopter and are trapped. The climatic finish has Madison,Strand, and Walker show up just in time to save them along with Alicia Ofelia and Mad dog. So pretty much everybody at the ranch dies and the zombies have over run the whole complex. Nick lies about Troy sending the horde and they decide to return to the dam because it is safe. They seem to have forgotten all the little problems going on there as well. However I see that being their only alternative at this point but if anyone should be scared it is the people at the dam because wherever the main group goes everyone else dies. Oh yeah Alicia decides to take off on her own which several of the characters have done on occasion. Not to worry though as Nick and TROY will follow to make sure she stays alive. So scratch two whole groups, one failed rescue, and any sign of intelligence later i am left feeling these people could not survive Night of the Lepus much less a zombie apocalypse. Once I realized the absurdity in this show it has become funny in a black humor sort of way.

The writing on this show has left a ton to be desired ever since its beginning. Why AMC continues to throw money at it is beyond me. Let's hope the dam fails, is overrun by walkers, and everyone becomes a high protein meal. This show can't come to a conclusion fast enough.
