Quote:Either Rick is really old, last person standing, and once he dies, all zombies left
Quote:Either this was all a bad dream, and he meets Bobby coming out of the shower
Quote:Or, Rick gets the zombie cure, and ends up becoming a smart Zombie?
And have they ever really said what the cause of Zombies were?
If it were me, and they wanted to keep going the direction that they are, the people would eventually just outlast the zombies. Without fresh numbers they eventually become immobile and too rotted to move about.
It would probably just be a montage of time passing in whatever location they are in and sort of end like that. No major explanation as to what caused it, the people who possibly could figure it out eventually seem to be long dead.
Things start over again from that point and maybe some other locations. And it ends.
They could also all just die and call it a day. I imagine whatever the ending is a fair number of people probably will not be pleased with it. The way most finales go.
Nah-so long as there are people alive when they die new zombies rise. Easy way out is the virus just disappears as mysteriously appeared. For dramatic purposes and I would't put it past R.K. for the whole cast to die in a final massive zombie horde attack perhaps brought on by humans being stupid one time to many. Then we have Walking Dead vol 2.
