Just a round number I threw in there. I haven't read a great deal of Wonder Woman since Perez left the book which was what, '91 or '92? But I wasn't impressed by what I did read. I don't think any of the post-Perez writers handled her with much nuance. She seemed to lose her charm, to become more severe, and that was the start of the slippery slope that led to her being portrayed as a warrior, using a sword and killing.

I admit that as repellent as Morrison's WW E-1 was in countless ways, he absolutely got right in presenting the character's humanity and compassion as central motivators. I had hopes if the series had developed the awkwardness of the origin would have been left behind and the character may have gone on to appear in some interesting stories.
