As that would be a welcome change, as the trailors seem to be showing us more of a light hearted comedy touch than prior DC movies?

Maybe to set up WW as their version of cap First Avenger?

There is a different feel and tone to the Wonder Woman film, though this is probobly as much to do with it not being managed by Zak Snyder and the character being a Woman in the central role who is new and open to the World beyond her Island home, everything is an adventure for her and we are invited to share the Wonder of it all with her. Really when you think on it she and Superman aree very much alike in this way, two outsiders with different viewpoints arriving to our world, where the Man of Steel films have failed to recognise the possibilities and advantages of Superman's view of the world and the benefits his existence and influence might have the producers of Wonder Woman appear to be well aware of the characters fundamental ability to influence and have a positive effect on a benighted world. And it would be appropriate if it was Wonder Woman who turns out to be the one who came across the most heroically and sensible of the Batman/Superman/Justice League films.

I have to say it looks like a solid film, the accent from Gil Gadot/Diana takes some adjusting to but I look forward to seeing it in the theatre very much. \(yes\)
