And instead of listening to the outcry, what do these women do? They do it again. On top of all that, they fire back at the men and say mean things (which I won't bother to repeat).
I bet if men did a men only screening for any movie, the women would be up and arms and crying for equality. They fought so hard for that only to turn around and do it to men. There's a word for that sort of thing. Starts with an H.
This is pretty sexist, I agree. It's also selfish and naïve. And not only is it sexist, it's pretty ridiculous that in the 21st century, we are still dealing with this crap. We should be better than this and way beyond it by now. If this doesn't hurt the Wonder Woman film in any way, I'll be very, very surprised because it'll be more than deserved for pulling this kind of crap.
...so many other screenings or showing of the same damn movie elsewhere and even in the Alamo DraftHouse. It isn't like EVERY SINGLE WONDER WOMAN MOVIE CANNOT BE SEEN BY MEN. A few showings at one movie theater. They also have Mommy and Me movies too...do you want to barge into those saying "It isn't fair that only little kids and Mommy can have this one thing. I want this one thing too because I'm entitled and I'm a man."
This showing is not FOR men, but there are plenty of showings for men. Get over yourselves. It's a movie and a particularly empowering movie for women. Let them have a "women-only" viewing of this one superhero movie of a prominent woman character. Grow up a bit. There are so much more media out there that is boys only (mostly because girls wouldn't like it anyways).
