In her own movie she singlehandedly defeats Ares. And Ares had defeated Zeus, creator god of the DC Universe. Ergo, Diana has abilities that puts her on par with or superior to Zeus. Diana should be AT LEAST as powerful as Darkseid, and Steppenwolf should have given her no trouble at all.

Based on what feats she has, she isn't anywhere near Super Necksnappers level. But regardless of her power level, she's still a demigod and shouldn't be anywhere near the same power level as Zeus and/or Ares even if she was created to be the "godkiller". With her limited powerset, it doesn't make much sense at all that she should be anywhere near Ares' equal. And yet, she kills him. That in itself is inconsistent. But it's a movie where the hero had to win even if it made no sense.

Her 'showing', or rather lack of it, in JL was silly and inconsistent with established fact. Diana isn't just a superhero, she's the 'godkiller'. She can kill gods. She's THAT POWERFUL.

And yet, almost every feat she's shown so far (with the exception of killing Ares) shows a woman who is not as powerful as Super Necksnapper. Almost every feat she's shown so far, even in her own movie, Super Necksnapper has one that's better.

It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?
