That was her bracers enabling her to do that. At least, that's how I took it.

Since she doesn't have those powers in the comics, I again interpreted that as coming from her bracers. Remember, when she was on that island and had that duel with Antiope? it really looks like the energy came from those bracers and not from Wonder Twig herself.

That's what I thought too, initially. That the power was in the bracelets. But they pull the same misdirection with the sword. It only becomes clear later that it's not the objects that have the power, it's Diana herself. Brought to life by Zeus to be "The weapon that is strong enough to kill a god".

Nor can they keep killing the main villain of the movie in every DCEU movie that's been made so far either. Pretty soon, we won't have any villains left.

For once I'd like to see a DCEU movie NOT kill the main bad guy in the end.

Me too. I've never understood why you'd want to kill off a good character. It's just a waste. The only thing better than a good fight and a good win... is a good rematch.

I think that is an issue with many superhero based movies. There are loads of villains to use and they toss aside some good ones to just jump to the next one.

I guess the new shinny thing is better much of the time. Marvel did a pretty good job with Loki, but they have not done particularly well either in this sort of front.

Look Raist bunnies...
