Quote:Did not like this. Electricity is electricity, regardless of whether it's biological or technological. It's already established that Kitty can hurt bioelectrical currents just like electronics.
Maybe it's a 'limitation' of her power to affect only tech generated electricity. What story did she hurt bioelectrical current? Maybe it could be a tweaked as a retcon if it was only the one time? What were the circumstances? Or maybe someone will have to No-Prize the unsaid conditions that failed her here?
That's my point. It has already been established that this is not a limitation of her power. She's done this many times, but the one I recall is when she and Rachel were time traveling in their "True Friends" mini. She knocked out Alasdhair Kinross with this.
Not even No-Prize can help us here.
Quote:Yes, it should be remembered that none of his rock is alive. It's just normal rock surrounding a psionic energy being. And no one should forget he isn't just limited to rock.
Hmm... Remember when the X-Men had diamonds growing on trees thanks to Kid Krakoa (not his real name, but...)? Too bad Santo couldn't have used some of them for his body.
And let's also not forget he can explode himself.
Quote:Yeah, meanwhile over in the real SE story, the dome was over NYC for weeks.
Glad it wasn't just me that felt the timeframing off. And the whole cover of darkness with only Dagger lighting the place up was not even addressed here. (Or evenly addressed in all the crossovers, IMO.) BTW: Do you know who that woman was that climbed tohelp her at the top of the Empire State Bldg in SE #6? Jessica Jones? Why isn't Magik helping with the lights or ordinary folks' backup generators? So many mutants at the mansion, with so many powers to help - such a missed oppurtunity. The Gold Team did 2 issues of crowd control and demon fighting doesn't sound like heroes. Quentin psi-counselling the distressed, Eye-Boy helping those blinded by the dark, Nature Girl having the animals with nocturnal senses making deliveries, Storm charging generators, Magik helping Strange, etc
That woman is Dr. Claire Temple, and old old old friend of Luke's (from the 70s Heroes for Hire). She was also in SE#2 and fairly recent issues of Cap:Sam.
Indeed. A lot of missed opportunities.
