The return of Danger -AND ALSO POLARIS!- were the only curious elements with potential for fun reveal

I was unfamiliar with Danger but now I'm a fan. I got the feeling her personality was modeled on Charles Xavier's - although, if this were the DC Universe, I would say she was modeled on Alfred Pennyworth.

I have to say I don't see either of those personalities. I'm not sure how Alfred has changed in the past couple decades, but doting parental-figure is nothing at all like Danger. She was introduced by manipulating a kid into suiciding. She's never really been out to help or even mentor anyone. She's a metal vixen, more like Emma or Rogue (in fact, with her highly sexed-up appearance, I'm very certain Whedon/Cassaday were trying for Emma when they created her). With her only 3-panel and 2-statement appearance in this issue, I'm not sure how you reached the Xavier or Alfred conclusion. She suddenly appears, then start smashing villains.
