The Xmen Gold preview page was posted at another forum along with a long discussion (longer than the above) about Kitty apparently handling things pretty much on her own again. The nostalgia that escapes me is: Is the only reason Kitty is such a skilled ninja (or average by their standards?) is because of a magic whammy noted here that Ogun put on her training before (after? during?) by Logan?

EDIT:
Here's a nice topical fanart drawing of Kitty by Todd Nauck. And a cheap segue to add another of his work of Cyclops just because it's very funny, eh? Has Cable ever looked cute? Maybe he should draw a comedy backup X-sotry for the next special issue?

He was more of an enemy to Logan in the old 90's cartoon than he ever seemed to be in the comics. Red is supposed to be a classic villain, but it seems that him and Logan have rarely crossed paths. The same holds true for Donald Pierce and the Reavers, for that matter.

What is the current status of Ogun anyway? I kind of prefer him to stay dead.
