"Kologoth Appreciation Thread"? Ha! Yeah, all sarcasm. He proved to be NOT worth it, IMO. Ended up retyping "So - That's Kologoth" about 5-6 different ways. Its so hard to express the sarcastic inflection implied with plain text. Not so much the 'mutant' angle specifically - or at all really. This franchise long ago disallusioned me that EVERYTHING had to be mutant related when they unoriginally revealed Warlock had to be "a mutant" of his Magus' tech-race to be on the New Mutants.

I can get alien mutants, Technarchs included... even though Warlock's mutation was questionable. Negative Zone stretches beyond credibility though.

And the pet peeves keep on coming. Not surprised by this joke either. There was the selective capability to phone home while in X-Haven. And before that Kitty and Quill had no problem to have long googly eyed conversations via their easypeasy Galactic-Skype [and yet no one could contact Smasher that Cannonball 'was dead'].

I didn't get the impression that anyone even thought Cannonball was dead. So there's not much to talk to Smasher about. Thankfully.
