I really hate what has become of 616 Beast. Give us back the early Avengers Beast, all happy, smart and carefree...Momma McCoy's blue bundle of joy.

Agreed. Hank should go back to the Avengers (some future covers indicate this might happen). Writers can get away with his old Avengers personality re-emerging and explain it away as too much angst with the X-Men.

I don't know what to say about Bobby, I couldn't care less about him being gay or not, they should have done a real, slow burn story on his self-realization. He's borning and has been for far too long. Sadly.

Marvel made him an omega level mutant to make him more important. That should make his power level a central feature of his character - mastering it and then pitting him against more powerful menaces.

Scott was turned into a SUPER dick, murderer, madman.

Scott has had it the worst. When Jean comes back as the Phoenix, she should resurrect Scott and "purify" him in the process, explaining that when he merged with Apocalypse, some part of Apocalypse had remained with him and made him something he wasn't.

I never thought I would miss Warren's first time around on coming to grips with being Archangel. He has been a waste since Uncanny X-Force.

Warren is toughest to fix. He needs extended absences from comics and only be called back as an X-Man in important all-hands-on-deck stories. A guy with wings just can't do that much in today's stories.

And poor Jean has never gotten to shine. Give her a real talent (not Bendis or Slott or Miller ).

    Quote:
Jean should create her own team, organization.....something all her own.

Jean should get some cosmic-in-scope story as the White Phoenix of the Crown dealing with abstract entities and her place in the multiverse (ala X-Men Forever) before shunting away all that power to live as a human being/mutant again.
