SAY WHAT NOW?Blasphemy. Let's see you No-Prize your way out of that erroneous statement, Marvel. Or better yet maybe not - just get this over with. Bah. This whole series is not an action piece or a character piece but more of an atmosphere piece. This is more of just more of the same drivel from 1-3. Well, at least all the X-men died here.

Yup. Teen Cyke never did love Adult Jean. They've never even met.

It's not about "No Prizes." It's a philosophical thing. My high school girlfriend never loved the man I became. She never even knew me. We only met once for a minute or two. Adult Scott, sure...

Almost offered that No-Prize in parathesees(sp?) but thought "Scott" does love "Jean". Eternally Marvel. They even have that recently formed Psychic Rapport Bond(earlier than before) - that really should have helped in that sitch. Scott probably had higher lust levels in the beginning that couldn't his passion in pleading. Logan was cruel(is that the adjective?) to say that. And technically the timeline difference of his future level love with present Jean could be considered/compared in philosophical debate if he loved her more. If Logan wanted to 'go in alone' because the x-men's Plan-B soulution is to kill Jean maybe Scott will be shown determined to do the opposite next ish?

Yes, there is that, as well.

But still this Jean is not the Jeen that Tyke has any kind of psychic rapport with, even if we entertain the idea that Jeen grows up to be the actual 616/Universe-8 Jean. This Jean is the one who severed that rapport and has practically nothing in common with Jeen. Tyke knows practically nothing at all about this Jean. They are nearly strangers.

Sidebar: Is this the same Phoenix Egg that normal present day Scott of 616 Universe #7 *koff* must have merged with, BETWEEN ISSUES *sigh*, during THAT Incursion (that stupidly has to be qualified as THAT Incursion)?

Nope. Each return gets a new and different egg.

Damn. Did we ever 'see' what that egg did look like before Secret Wars? Has that Scott/Jean/Phx merging ever been explained since? (Probably Endsong that've yet to read, eh.)

No. Endsong has nothing at all to do with that egg. I think we've seen about 4-5 different eggs at this point. Morrison came up with the idea. Every time a Phoenix dies, an egg is eventually formed on the spot in which it died. The Egg seen in Endsong is where the Phoenix comes from in that story.

More recently, Terrax and Thanos had another Phoenix Egg. That's how Thanos got Phoenix powers.
