    1. That psychic surgery. Ridiculous showing. Jean blindly and successfully performing TK surgery on Scott's apparent mortal wounds is just too farfetched. And then she has to maintain her stopgap fix at the cost of her TP dominance seems such a contrived plot device. Just another way to have her as the (blossoming) Omega Level Telepath except when the story calls for old fashioned slugfest action. Why didn't the pair seek non-combative respit while Wing Burner, Tentacular Icemaster, and Would-be Beastidigitator continued searching with Venom?

I think she should be capable of that at this point.

    2. The further abuse of Venom as a viable character. His dismemberment of the alien informant was such a disgusting and unlikely public display for the anti-hero at his best. Especially, given the decent strides his new series is trying to represent the more appreciated classic incarnation. The defunct Carnage series went to the effort of streamlining all the symbiote copycats out of existence and here we have 5-6 more introduced already. The Handbook ones had cooler names and looks. Also, the whole despicable Klyntar Space Heroes retcon is muddled more with the backstory suggested here for this 'rainbow raiders' of Klyntars.

Venom has killed quite a few innocent humans already for no good reason. He's not viable. He's not an antihero. He's a monster that you can sometimes converse with. Nothing more.

    3. Right from the opening sentence about "the X-men being no strangers to inter-galactic adventures" the credibility of the O5 in space is questionable. How many times have they even been into space (other than Tyke)?! Less than you can count on 1 hand? Their matter-of-fact bumbling rescue efforts to free the scenario sloppy Starjammers.

Well, they aren't strangers to it. There was the Trial of Jean and then the Black Vortex stuff.
