SPIDER-GIRL SWINGS BACK
INTO PITTSBURGH

The whole Spider-Girl crew - Tom DeFalco, Ron Frenz, Sal Buscema and artist emeritus Pat Olliffe - will be guests at this weekend's Pittsburgh Comicon, April 25-27.

The current creative team, Tom, Ron and Sal, are scheduled to particate in a Spider-Girl panel at noon Saturday. Tom says Ron is bringing a big surprise to celebrate Spider-Girl's 10th anniversary. Also, word has it that Spider-Girl herself will be on the scene Saturday. So be sure to bring your camera.

For convention details, visit the Pittsburgh Comicon's Web site.

"The grassroots support from the SG message board has been fantastic. Those fans have managed to keep Spider-Girl alive. They never gave up on the title. Not even when Marvel canceled it and told me there was no hope of ever bringing it back. Spider-Girl lives because of her fans!" - Tom DeFalco, Spider-Girl writer

"A lot of people don't feel like their opinions matter, but our fans have saved our book from cancellation on more than one occasion and that should count for something. It's the kind of reader participation that Stan Lee used to foster in the early days of Marvel and that's been lost over the years." - Ron Frenz, Spider-Girl artist

MAYDAY'S QUESTION:
Did I make the right decision getting back with Gene?
