In their weekly e-mailer, DC Comics has announced a new creative team for Superman: World of New Krypton. The announcement reads:

JAMES ROBINSON AND GREG RUCKA TO WRITE SUPERMAN: WORLD OF NEW KRYPTON #1

SUPERMAN: WORLD OF NEW KRYPTON #1 (JAN090192; variant edition JAN090193), the first issue of the 12-issue miniseries, will be written by the James Robinson and Greg Rucka, the title’s regular writing team

In this issue, following the events of the “New Krypton” crossover, the Man of Steel has had to embrace his past to ensure humanity's future. And while a devastating armed conflict with Earth may have been averted, keeping the peace will be Superman's greatest challenge yet.

Because of this change, SUPERMAN: WORLD OF NEW KRYPTON #1 will be made returnable at a later date.

SUPERMAN: WORLD OF NEW KRYPTON #1 is solicited in the January Previews and is scheduled to arrive in stores on March 11.

No word on why Kreisberg is no longer writing it. He seemed pretty gung ho about in early January, then less than two weeks later, we found out he wasn't writing the second issue and now he's not writing the first, either. Trouble in Kandor?
