{absolutely no... I know it's going to happen, hence the italicizing, but as long as he is Sorcerer Supreme this seems a BIG CONFLICT OF INTEREST. IIRC there have been many stories revealing his priorities to maintain the Universal Balance of good/evil forbid him from bowing to local laws. Now if this is wrong, well then maybe. The rumour is that he is NOT to be the leader, so how can he take conflicting orders in good conscience given the man of conscience he has become? Now if he gives up his Cosmic position, well then maybe. Sure he cares for the members of New Avengers (well, except Echo or maybe Ronin and he couldn't have known PM&IF thaaat well) but doesn't joining contradict the Spockhis mantra "The good of the many outweigh the good of the few"? Now if he learns right away he must quit after this impulsive decision to join, well then maybe. Am surprised the vote didn't have more NO's.}
