Captain America and the Mighty Avengers 009

Luke and Jessica really should have kept the AKA codenames Power Man and Power Woman.

Aha! Called it. So Old Man Rogers really never did have any pull on this team. \:\)

"FRIEND FORCE" really isn't THAT bad a name. Ditto their conversation outside the Gem Theatre. This team would be better off without the Avengers miscommunication their team name has brought them anyways.

OMG! Easter Egg alert! It's (classic) Cpt.Ultra! Ha! Curious if anyone finds any inconsistency with the heroes present (from SW#0) flying towards 1610?

Speaking of 'alert', it looks like Marvel was afraid of litigation from the Emergency Broadcast System?! Are they even an 'entity' capable of suing?

Good to get comment by POTUS to represent a global reaction - since the main series had been too lacking in that area.

Apparently She-Hulk did not even kill skrulls?

Remind me when Monica killed a vampire, a Broccoli People, and Pterano-Suited men?

Nice bonding scene with Jen&Mon and continuity placement with Shulkie.

Good scene Pulsar was going to ram the other Earth, if VERY presumptuous, and made better with her humane change of mind. Topped it off with a cherry that the heroes of 1610 are super enough to attempt to deal with her powers.

What a shame D.W. and Soraya got almost no memorable supporting cast facetime for 8 issues before! \:\( Their scene manning the phones in this Crisis was not only memorable but heartwarming. And hey, if a romance blooming would've increased their appeal, as was hinted here, they definitely were an interesting combo to go with it.

Great cameo choices (and countdown pacing) for the last minutes of the rest of the team. Very reader friendly the ones that literally crossed over with SW#1. Particular treat to see how Wong and Adam and The Cages were dealing with it. But truly interesting, and surprisingly so, was the generic doctor talking 'the reader' through to THE END!

Great ish and crossover effort.
