VERY INTERESTING stuff! (Capitals intended!) Hope it all plays out smartly...

Squadron Supreme 002

This is not standard review, more just bullet reactions...

• Grabber cover.
• Tyndal seems very loyal to Thundra. A bit of their dynamics.
• We still don't know 5 W's of Thundra showing up to espy unseen the Namor decapitation last ish. How much time has passed -probably days?- since then. The 5 W's of her current battle against monsters in California. Her baffling connection to the SS. And why the writer is letting her use the word "TWERP".
• The PrevPage is okay recap but it REALLY should include the story title! IS there even a story title?
• Time elapsed and global reaction to the assassination is good to include right off.
• Details on their hiding and personal lengths Nighthawk has went is good to include right off.
• Hmmm... a bulky warrior Kymelian bent on violence. A bit annoying neither have working translators. And a bit annoying that much of Ray(Kyle)'s Batastic deductive reasoning actually read like unlikely leaps in logic (for exposition ease).
• NITE-KITE, "FLY BY" maneuver, "Die Hard" moviesque escape: All make cool sequence!
• VERY COOL footnote to AVENGERS #0 included. Are we thinking it happens before #2 or #1 ATM?...
• On the flipside this makes NOT knowing how the team was thrown together yet VERY FRUSTRATING to "appreciate" their union.
• 3 pages on Hyperion was engaging but quite skimpy.
• Hmmm... Marc is going to turn to trucking and/or religion.
• Toronto, CANADA! Yay!. Liking the many International setting changes. (Will probably be wanting more transportation details though.)
• Hmmm... Power Princess is a succubus?!
• Hmmm... MODRED!! He is as SUDDENLY as connected the team as Thundra - which feels equally rushed with their introductions.
• Hmmm... Doc has a dream that is alleged (& creative way to include) true history. Black Bolt! Was Black Bolt there when the Cabal killed her world?
• Hmmm...Doc seemingly confirms that this Earth's FIVE versions of the team exist too. Our version of her is probably not an aquanaut. Possibility of a Stingray appearance might be neat.
• Jeff has enjoyable dialogue/attitude. Really liked his "EVERYWHERE" line.
• Hmmm... Huh! Badoon and Kree added to the growing mix.
• Wonder how long it took Nite Kite from Galveston Bay to Sonoran Desert. What is distance again?
• Uncanny Avengers not forgotten. It actually worked out good to duplicate much of the cliffhanger page from #1 so we could get to know the stars. Their dialogue is lame but Ray's comeback was pretty good.
• Looking forward to see how the trouncing shown of the (unmethodically[read:crappily assembled]) Avengers on next month's cover plays out!
• MORE revealing and smart details on all aspects of this chapter are also anticipated (& wanted).
