Mighty Captain Marvel 007

Carol has some decent introspective spotlight in spite of: the bothersome convoluted scenario to get here; and the illogic of the defending heroes seem to remain unscathed except for that first Chitauri strike; and the AFSS sardine can in the sky is still their crazy goto safehaven. Captain Marvel's recovery and rescue of the New Kid Trio was credit to her attempt to be a better heroine and leader. Otherwise, the whole adventure was a completely average timefiller with clean, though stagnant, art action. Oh sure, it was great the Guardians of the Galaxy FINALLY return from their failed enlistment drive after who knows how long - but then some believable resistence force was necessary since who knows what Blue Marvel and Starbrand are doing to help. The reason for this post is to share on the AMB the update that HYPERION IS BACK in the game! And helping the Earth Space Omega Team (that HydraCap fears so much *rolls eyes*) by using his power to... well, uhhh, he's definitely back in the game.

The whole story plot was to build on the New Kid Trio tech-success to contact Earth thru the Earth Shield. Hopper and the one kid prove smarter than Earth Space Omega Team *sigh* and it was going to be a thrill if they actually reestablished contact with Wendy or whatever unclear agency Carol would see fit to trust. Sadly, they fail - as of the ending at least. MAN! This Event is so depressing and discouraging. And it's not like people on the surface and cadets on the station could simply resort to using telescopes and pencil and paper to communicate, eh? *ahem*

Next issue pose (not poser) cover looks so superficially redundant to this issue's cover but with less impressive grabber factor.
