I have always intended to pick up those issues.
I did read the what if back in the day. It was excellent.

This really did feel like the end for him. Although he didn't really seem to be all THAT powerful! But I recently got most of these issues, and I'm glad that I did. The Korvac in these issues was very complex. It was also cool to see The Guardians. So, yes, Korvac should have stayed dead, and this was a good ending.

IMO the bemused Michael persona Korvac took was interesting. Korvac as himself isn't. The real Korvac that they keep wheeling out from the super villain retirement home is dull as watching paint dry. That guy sucks.

Yes, one of my all time favorite story lines, as always thought that he was Beyonder Lite, think Jim Shooter did both of them, and He was really powereful for the time, looked to be right up there with the cosmic powers in Marvel!

Whden he was as Michael, thought that it might not have been so bad if he would have won, as he justed wanted to turn Earth into paradise Reborn!
