Am I the only one disappointed that they went with that costume? Some variation of the black costume would have been so much better. And Brie Larson? She just doesn't have the charisma to pull off a title role. I would've preferred a woman with more gravitas, like Rachel McAdams, Charlize Theron, or Ali Larter. Can't say I'm looking forward to the movie.

I'm definitely concerned that Brie Larson won't find the right personality for Carol.
I like the costume, but not this version of it. Hollywood needs to stop putting knee pads on superheroes, imo. Even if they make a Night Thrasher, I don't want to see a freaking knee pad.

I'm trying to understand why that one photoshopped image with different colors is there. I understand the choice of colors but will she actually be wearing two costumes in the one movie? Or is that just some fan having fun?
In any case I think the costume is as boring as it could possibly be.

I trust Marvel casting. Downey Junior as Iron Man? Chris Evens as Captain America? Both seemed very dubious until we saw them and nodded our heads and said, "Yup."
Well, there was also Nicholas Cage as Johnny Blaze but that was 11 years ago. Marvel does better now.

They probably want to push this version over the comic flopping one, expect this costume in the books later,

Same here, and I especially do not like the miscoloured boots. One extremely important costuming rule, imo, should be no brown whatsoever.

One thing: I think it would be impossible for Rachel McAdams to be a believable pilot based on height, alone.

I've always thought Downey was the perfect Iron Man, even before he was chosen. Except for maybe his height, but not so much. Nothing dubious about Evans, imo, either, but I never really cared.

Well the green uniform confirms she's a captain I guess.

Costume is meh...I don't know enough about her as an actress to make a fair opinion though her #Metoo twitter explosion over some guy just hitting on her in an airport was extreme and worried me a little.
I am torn...my expectations area little low...since the comic book is terrible...but the MCU...I don't know how but they just keep surprising me and turning out truly good movies...with such repetition that I cannot help but trust they will make at least an enjoyable movie of this.

I'm in exactly the same boat. I was just telling my local comics shop owner, "Yeah, the Captain Marvel movie looks dumb to me, but I'm keeping my mouth shut, because one thing is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt: I don't know jack."
Guardians of the Galaxy looked dumb to me. 'Nuff said. (Once more with feeling: I don't know jack.)
