Subj: Meanwhile in Tales of Suspense #101...

Okay, shouting Avengers business and presuming acknowledgement it something Hawkeye would do but this practice coming from any other INACTIVE Avenger (from the main titles) continues to be as annoying to process as when AFSS Director Carol Danvers does it. Heck "Avenger" Clint didn't even show up for NO SURRENDER Event summons. Whatever. On with the rest of it...
Tales of Suspense 101 (2018)
WEHT Yelena Belova in her last story arc? Who are we guessing Yelena is working for - since she pleads with Bucky to spare her? It can't be the Red Room, can it? The last we saw NadiaWasp, in her book, put an end to Black Widow's original Cold War handlers, right? How is Yelena connected to "Mother" who seemed to be shut down and off into hiding after Unstoppable. This was the same "Mother" lost all her protege kids to Nat in the last cancelled Black Widow series, right? Maybe Buck and Hawk didn't even capture the real Yelena. Why can't she speak English and why does the next cover have a Black Widow looking like Nat again with shorter red hair than this ish? Hmm...
WEHT Skids in her last story arc? IT IS GREAT to see her used but, uhhh, what agency is Sally "Skids" Blevins working for? This tiring story rehash of SHIELD being dissolved but stories still have random agents working for ambiguous agencies is pet peeve annoying. Just say she works for FBI, CIA, local PD, interpol, Triskelion, Grey Blade, or ANY NAMED organization. SHIELD cells still being active are acceptable but tell us who their resources and authority come from and stop lumping everyone as simply "Ex-SHIELD".
Where'd the Dumpsville Duo get the Hurka sandwiches from? Bucky must've climbed down to buy them - great - what's worse is the blatant disregard for Bucky's canon precident as The Man on the Wall as he is written "stumbling" thru this hunt with limited resources.
How do the Dumpsville Duo make the page transition from Chernaya to Washington DC? ... we'll never know this triviality but probably should, eh?
Clint's H-touque is kinda neat... but WHY is he not in costume?
The woefully vague followup on HYDRA status after Secret Empire just adds more randomness than drama. However it was a decent read. My take on this was closer to these 2 reviews:
with a grade halfway between them. What was your grade of this chapter?
Other online reviews mention the Red Ledger and Thunderbolts but - did anyone, here, actually see any of those storylines factoring in at all?
