So. For this writer and for this series James Barnes has NO OFFICIAL Avengers association as of TODAY. Based on this in-story statement of fact. Good to know and/or comment on.

Tales of Suspense 102

WOW. This was SO GOOD to read. This went from average setup to above average adventure. Like any good episode of any classic buddy cop TV show of the 70-80s. Don't spoil yourself by looking at the last page in advance or the rest of the picayune details here...

That poser image wouldn't have been my cover choice.

The Bucky/Clint banter, all issue, was genuinely and realistically hilarous. That's 20 pages worth!

Interrogating the close-mouthed Yelena was intriguing. And tailing her was exciting. What happens to her is SHOCKING.

Interrogating Rodion Steshenko... who?!... was clever. Maybe a more recognizable con would have been more impactful.

Second most famous sidekick! HAHAHA! \:D Would you pay for a company crossover special of Batman and the Windy Soldier? ;\)

Coming on the crime scene at Cady's place was as entertaining as any CSI type TV show of the 90-00s.

Do we know Orphan-Maker already? Meeting her and seeing her square off with was nicely done. Hawkeye being the voice of reason was a fun twist. And the story tops this encounter off with the impactful last page appearance of none other that THE BLACK WIDOW, herself! With the perfect line and drawn perfectly gorgeous.

Did you espy this book at the LCS?
