WandaVision was pretty good and original but then had a very disappointing finale. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier started off a little too mechanically, but ended the last 3 episodes strongly with the 4th and 6th episodes being the best. Part of it is because the series dealt with complicated issues and tackled them, not with a straightforward answer, but with being willing to ask more questions. Sam's speech was perhaps a bit too on the nose but it was right on target for our current political climate where everyone thinks they have the answers before they've figured out whether they are asking the right questions.
I wish Bucky's ending had been a bit more fleshed out, but he, Sam, and John Walker all got terrific character development over the course of the series, something WandaVision failed to do with Wanda, who really needed it. I didn't like Batroc dying and had hoped Batroc would be developed into the more flamboyant character he is in the comics. Perhaps that was beyond St-Pierre's acting chops though. Sharon got an intriguing heel turn, and who her partner in crime is should be an interesting reveal. Norman Osborn perhaps? The Isaiah Bradley moments in the finale were touching.

I wasn't thrilled with the whole Flagsmasher plot. I really don't see the logic in people moving around since the whole world would have been in the same boat. Plus, 5 years just wouldn't have been long enough for a lot of this to happen. People didn't die. They disappeared. And without bodies, there would be no declaring any of them dead. Properties would have remained with the original owners, etc. In the US, it can often take the better part of 20 years to go through all of the red tape, and at minimum, 10 years.
But whatever... it kind of floored me to see Sam even remotely siding with Karli. For me, her whole philosophy was no better than Nazis, even without all of the bombings and killings. Sam was awesome to see as Cap. The upcoming Cap 4 movie BETTER have Mackie as the star, dammit! As in the books, if Steve doesn't have the shield, Sam's the only one I want with it.
Also wasn't happy with the reveal of Sharon as the Power Broker. That's like butchering the character, imo.
Other than that, the outcome was okay. Good to see John as USAgent. I like Julia Louis-Dreyfus, but she was a bit annoying as Val for me. Her delivery seemed off. Never have cared about Batroc (on paper, too). Won't miss him. Really wanted more from Zemo. But very fun ride, definitely.
PS: Oh, and that scene in a previous episode where John makes himself a new shield just might be the silliest thing to ever be in an MCU project. They should really remove it was future edits.

The Avengers would have told the government what caused everyone to die - Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet - and that news would have spread quickly. Given that the cause of death was "supernatural," perhaps people might hope for a similarly supernatural reversal within a year or two, but after that, life goes on and people would have to be declared dead. You can't act like this is something normal or would have been treated in normal fashion.

Her philosophy was to deal with displaced people in a humane way. How is that like Nazis, which was about a racial supremacy and Jewish genocide? It was Karli's methods - the bombings and killings - that were evil.

It will. Malcolm Spellman, the lead writer of this series, is also penning the Cap 4 movie.

Somewhat, especially in comparison to the character in the books, but she may turn out to be a Skrull.

seems like Bucky did not though get a decent ending, and he would have made a better choice for the new cap, based upon being with Steve all those years, and also being a super soldier himself!

Just wonder when the Skrulls will be popping up now in Marvel shows/movies. and will the Kree be then far behind?

Bucky would make a terrible Cap! A man who used to be an assassin for the Soviets and who murdered Howard Stark and his wife? John Walker killed one "terrorist/rebel" in public and it's a public relations disaster. Even with the brainwash excuse, how does Bucky get a pass for dozens of murders from the public's standpoint?

It really wasn't "all those years." It was one, maybe two. Bucky has been through and done a lifetime's worth of horrible things that have permanently made him damaged goods. Part of the job is being inspirational, and Bucky doesn't have it in him.

Just think that they went for the PC storyline to make the Falcon now Cap, as he just does not have the required physical stats!

Totally. At this point, whenever someone is shown to be completely out of character (especially in a "let's destabilize the world" sort of way), it's probable that that character is a skrull. And since Secret Invasion will be a TV show, I wouldn't expect the a-list Avengers to be replaced. Sharon is kind of a perfect fit to be the Jessica Drew of the MCA Secret Invasion.

It's interesting that, in a way, Thanos was right. Sure, many countries simply mourned after the snap. But in places where people were fighting every day over scraps simply to survive their lives improved considerably. After everyone came back, they weren't willing to relinquish those gains. They had been doing better. Maybe the Flag Smashers should have called themselves Children of Thanos.

The problem with Thanos isn't his ends, it's his means. Of course conflict arises when resources are scarce and reducing "demand" to relatively increase supply CAN be a solution. That doesn't make murdering half the universe any better as one of the worst acts imaginable.
