Movie serials were multi-chapter miniseries that came out before television.They were more or less 12 chapters in length. Each chapter came out every Saturday afternoon.There were Superhero serials in the 1920's,'30's,'40's and even some in the early'50's.Captain America,Batman,Superman,Captain Marvel,the Phantom,The Green Archer,Tarzan,Flash Gordon,etc. My favorite was the "Adventures of Captain Marvel"A lot of the older generation agree.What do you think.I know this is before your time.
