I recently read a great "alfred appreciation" thread on DC.com

basically it says " He has been helping the Batfamily for years. Sacrificing his own self interest for everyone else. I don't think Bruce could function long term without Alfred.

Seriously, he doesn't take vacation. And is constantly there for multiple members of the bat-family. I know everyone loves him and appreciates him, but I feel he is under-appreciated sometimes.

I don't understand how he has consistently sacrificed his own desires and self interests for Batman for so many years. I find it hard to believe this is what he envisioned himself doing for the rest of his life.

He has to endure the hardships of watching his children (essentially) comeback battered bruise, shot, cut and patch them up routinely. This has to be incredibly taxing on him."

so that got me thinking are there any book, perhaps LDK or Gotham Knights, that focus on Alfred? maybe something that talk about his dedication to the waynes?
