What to say about this issue? Familiar complaint - nothing happens. Well a couple of things, but the e are whole pages with no dialogue, plus a couple scenes that just do not work.

The story starts with Bruce and Selina at home. Superman is hovering above 24-7 to keep a watch on them. They put on their costumes go out and try to visit a boy who is allergic to greens. Bats deduces Ivy controls the world via greens people eat.

He then whispers love words to Selina and Supes listens really hard. Bats then whistles loud, apparently cripling Supes. Ivy then sends three Flashes to attack the couple. They are so smart, they antipathy the move and Selina throws punches before they arrive and the Flashes run into her fist foot, and despite the fact that the force of people weighing 150 pounds or more traveling a couple of hundred miles an hour would generate enough force to liquify all bones in her hand and foot, she is fine. Ivy then sends Diane a couple of Green Lanterns, Bigfoot and a particularly tough fifth grade teacher.

The adorable duo (my copyright) are literally hung to dry 50 stories above the earth. Bats provokes Ivy and she has Supes hit Bruce. He dies, and we next see Bruce face bandaged waking up. His doctor - Harley Quinn (no relation).

That was Bruce’s plan get killed, be brought back to life and have his doctor be Harley. To quote Ony Stark, not a great plan.

So basically Bruce finds out how Ivy did it, and gets himself killed and resurrected via means basically hand waved like magic and spores and fairy reviving hand clapping.

That is it.

What I liked. The art. Was fantastic. No complaints there. Did like how Bruce figured out how Ivy did it. But do not buy the idea that if Superman listens hard a loud whistle would cause him to scream. Also do not buy Selina knocking out three Flashes by predicting where they will be and aiming at those empty spots. I get that Ivy does not have experience being a speedster, but running into fists? Nope. A bridge too far.

These last two issues are really slow, and that makes for a bit of a boring slog.

Or I could be wrong.
