Detective Comics 1010
Another tired and pages-hogging epilogue of Mr.Freeze merely wife-pining ruins another pat but exciting (enough) multi-part main story about Batman and innocents surviving on a deserted island with Deadshot as the antogonist for hire. This story will probably be better as a done-in-one collected TPB. Nothing was particularly notable or new with the (filleresque) storyline but there is good character work with Bruce and Floyd - that would probably make this a pretty good TV episode when this is over. Maybe not as exciting an ep as when Oliver and his whole Arrowverse cast was trapped on TV's Arrowverse's Lian Yu but still entertaining on a smaller scale. The art is nicely colorful - and the cover was better than the last one (even if it should have been on an island setting). The story title was VERY clever especially since adventure sort of has the feel of a classic volume one B&B team-up with Batman and... Tanaka?
Did you enjoy it or would you prefer watching a classic Primetime TV series episode where the star is stranded on a desert island for the 1 hour? There are probably many examples - including ones where the star crosses paths with lost MIA war pilots too, eh.
