*ughh* Not a fan of zombie stories too much. (Shaun of the Dead was pretty good though so read this issue unbiased).

The cover will certainly attract fans of zombie stories. http://www.popcultureshock.com/index.php?p=42032

Basically passed on the Previously Page - now THAT art mightve been a nice cover. Is that the same artist drawing Thing inside? Both nice but looking different...

Gingivitis never looked so threatening. Seriously though, all the artistic detail on the panels with teeth throughout the issue was excellent. The Torch's burning bald head - not so much.

Not a fan of zombie stories but found myself transported in time, as a kid watching Bugs Bunny cartoon -- laughing at the gunshot-thru-the-Daffy-Duck type sight gags, and enjoying a few of the zombie Avengers repartee bits and campy personalities.

Good for deus-ex-machina prevention to put in the limitations/quirks of the King Solomon Frog.

The continued kooky cockroach conflict becoming confusing with its prolonged attention... oops never mind - it's crunch time.

Teleport effect was a neat, thankfully small, visual - want it to stay consistant though. And Storm's hair lost detail in the middle few pages. Liked how Black Panther was drawn and also his 'take me to your leader' strategy.

The skrull angle was okay and Lyja in the Skrulltastic Four may prove interesting with parts 2 and 3.

But after awhile the non-stop eating frenzy started to look like literal overkill only to play up the cannibalistic attacks since there were so many heroes unable to 'take a bite outta crime'.

Then the next issue cover is shown - more madness. Still not a fan of zombie stories and may wait 'til issue 31 to return...
