From Marvel's January solicitations: BLACK PANTHER #34 Written by Reginald Hudlin, penciled by Francis Portela, cover by Salvador Larroca. "Gangsta Lean," part 1 of 3. It's clobberin' time -- in the arena and in the streets, between the Gangsters and Panthers, and between the Fantastic Four and the elusive, malicious Golden Frogs! 32 pages, $2.99. Two thoughts: 1) T'Challa and Storm left the FF in Fantastic Four #550. Yet in this title, they appear to still be part of the team, three months later. Even though this is the start of a new, 3-issue arc, which follows a new 2-issue arc that itself doesn't begin until next month. When this team-up began, wasn't it said that the two titles would attempt to coordinate their storylines? By the time this new arc concludes, their resignation in #550 will have taken place six months earlier. That's a whole extra tpb of FF crossover material. 2) Also judging by appearances, this issue does not appear to involve Wakanda. If that remains true for the rest of this arc, that will constitute 18 consecutive issues since T'Challa has set foot in Wakanda. | |||||||
