Loved #1, did NOT love #2, this one walked the line and the art pushed it to the good...

Make exceptions for poser covers on rare occasion. This one is beautiful. The flash of lightning is actually part of the story so technically this isnt even a poser cover which makes it better. \:\)

The red ruby blast panel was excellent lead in excitement. Buuut Cyke just walks away from last issue's plane crash? Really?! And can someone pleeease remind me how Storm is so aware of the ShadowKing/Cyclop condition/location?

The 7 page Storm/BP fight was good in that it had extenuating factors to consider with one of the Omega Level mutants fighting one of the most deadly hand to hand fighters in the world. Storm was holding back and BP was not in control. The enjoyable thing about Storm, besides her beautiful rendition here, was her logical reasoning in the battle that gave her a chance against a telepath. All telepaths should not be omnipotent, so ended up sharing her smile as she defeated the Shadow King. Unfortunately for T'Challa, she did have to let loose a bit.

Nezhno was handled okay too. The Dora Milaje's absence was odd.

Going to the City to ask the Panther God for help was a brave and smart play. And allowed for a beautiful costume change. The god and the goddess-claimtobe back and forth was entertaining.

"ARE YOU DONE?" \:D

The Lion King was a GREAT movie! It had a GREAT scene where the animals bowed to Simba near the end. The panthers' similar scene here was just as awesome.

Leaving Wakanda as the best course of action was questionable. T'Challa could be wounded and doped up for some time...

Theres a lot of Pixie haters at the XMB this month so her cameo with Emma might push some readers to 'the bad'. Buuut it might just generate some needed traffic here at the BPMB which is 'good'. Thanks Meggan!

No comment on the White Queens reaction and power display vs the ShadowKing until we see what she does in #4. Just saw the Xmen animated cartoon on YTV last weekend where she defeats the ShadowKing by herself while Scott and Logan remove potential X-hosts from the area so that may factor in on my opinion of her caught with her pants down as it were.

A superhuman able to hijack a plane from Coloroda to San Fran without exposition, and nary a Capekiller in sight, seemed plot device convenient.
