Seriously disappointed here. T'challa and Shuri's plan is to let Wakanda be defeated and have things fall apart, THEN fight back? I liked the premise of Wakanda being a nation never having been defeated, and this seems just silly to me. Moreover, as the comic will be on "hiatus" until Doomwar is over, it all just seems so needless . . . and dumb. T'challa meeting with Doom, letting Storm be arrested, Shuri as Black Panther, dabbling with "dark magic", and after 12 issues, nothing even close to a resolution. It's all a big send up for an event, one that won't even be in the comic that launched it. So much for sales that way.

Those are some good points about...
BLACK PANTHER #12
-villains not named/spotlighted enough
-generic Mandroid as choice of the heavy hitter
-fight choreography, save Shuri's, to undetailed
-Storn left out of BP's plans and her unclear chronology footnoting (especially with 'current' Xmen events)
-too many BP tech toys at once
NOT so disappointing:
-fine cover and inside art efforts
-good guest stars and much better handled face time of such a large cast as compared to, say, the better selling Xmen 231 this month
-neat Damage Control connection
-decent pacing this time 'round
-'Null Chamber' concept[?]
-Mrs Tickle to join the Gal Friday ranks of Ms Hand, Ms Locke, Mrs Primo, Mrs Fisk[RIP], etc.
-well stocked wet bar aboard 'Air Wakanda'
I miss you, Dan.
