![]() Okay then, in that vein... Black Panther: The Man Without Fear #514 http://ghettomanga.blogspot.com/2011/01/preview-black-panther-man-without-fear.html http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_h_4LI9FCco8/TSegxvrblEI/AAAAAAAAHrQ/JhrNtC3d-uM/s640/BlackPanther_ManWithoutFear2_.jpg Nope. Still not doing it for me. There's gritty and noir and a couple character bits but overall just didnt like how the story played out. However, there is online praise to be had: http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=353095 http://comics.ign.com/articles/114/1143836p1.html http://www.brighthub.com/arts/comic-books/articles/102728.aspx Wouldve been a great cover if he was sitting up in the air instead of above a poole of 'toxic acid'. Goig with no name instead of a new identity name still doesnt feel the best tactic and seems more for reasonably keeping BLACK PANTHER (solicitously) as part of the cover logo. The fake shouting couldve been bolded more to differentiate it from the normal planning. The lasers or tasers or whatever they were were whipped out awfully sudden but even more unclear was HOW and WHEN did T'C depower them? (And why didnt the fake assaulter brandish it to start?) The fake drop was cool. Still finding it hard to adjust to the duotone color scheme and the casual swipe of Dracula's name. Like the characterization of Vlad and his Gambit-esqe power well enough. Still not caring or even recognizing the fellow tenants of T'C ..er oh right.. Okondwo. Wouldve preferred some Z-lister as part of the bank heist gang -maybe even Turk- as a small Easter Egg. Liked seeing a special guest star with Cage even with BOTH good AND bad logic elements his visit. Still not caring coworkers of Okondwo - which is important to better appreciate the final panel. So, did Vlad get a cop and busboy from the explosion outside or did he use the 2 smucks he wasted? other than that the rooftop action was well enough to end the story. Is it doing it for you after 2 issues? ![]() It was one year, yesterday. ![]() | |||
