Be advised, those of you who depend on this title for a Black Panther fix, T'Challa only appears in 5 panels in nothing more than a wallflower capacity. In the big fight he does seem relegated to go up against a Hulk - and in fact appears to draw blood from scratching his face for what that's worth to you.

This is to another book but the sentiment reflects my take from this ish:
> Hickman’s long form Avengers epic has been a frustrating beast at best, I’ve wanted to like it so badly but have often been frustrated by how disparate all of the elements Hickman and his horde of superstar artists have introduced thus far are. I recall being curious but ultimately disinterested during Hickman’s first year on the Fantastic Four title only to realize the confluence of all the seemingly standalone stories that the writer had been crafting. A notable effort even though the payoff fell short. And so it is that I’ve been following Avengers, New Avengers and now Avengers World, waiting learily to see how the puzzle pieces fit together. I’ve often thought of his Avengers as a very epic but ultimately cold stories, devoid of much characterisation or humanity but this issue goes a way to reversing that paradigm with things starting to come to a head and key players meeting head on.
