Shuri 005
> THE TWO BADDEST GAUNTLET-WIELDERS IN THE MARVEL UNIVERSE UNITE! An alien creature has invaded Wakanda! And with her powers strangely malfunctioning and her brother still missing, Shuri is in over her head. Time to call for backup. Enter: Iron Man! But can these two tech geniuses figure out how to de-power an energy-sucking alien before it destroys the entire continent? Don’t miss the end of the first arc — and a dramatic change for the princess of Wakanda!

The art and direction is not satisfying at all.

Iron Man was handled well and was equal to so-called 'super' Shuri.

So, is Mansa out of trouble by the end or not? Is Storm's appearance before or after all the X-men 'die'?

Moses Magnum was the typical old-school cornball supervillain if you're in the mood for a one-dimensional threat.

So, they shut down a black hole that was about to destroy the Earth with a few abstract(?) equations and a convenient drone on Iron Man's 'utility belt'... uhh... good for them!

A teaching moment by mentioning 2 current IRL injustices going on over the ocean:

A couple of neat invention concepts. Unfortunately, they feel like throwaway successes and unconvincingly puts Muti as another instant genius in the MU.

Team Elephant's Trunk and Team Ancestral Spirits have failed to grab my attention.

And what does everyone else think of the last page intro of the NEW Black Panther armor?? It's pretty ludicrous to have flying panther wingarms, IMO. It's great that T'Challa's absence continues as a plot point so it's fine that she retakes the BP mantle in his absense. She will REALLY NEED her own codename when he gets back - if not just use "Princess Shuri".

WOW. Two reviews (so far?) at comicbookroundup at opposite ends of the spectrum?

This book lost its way a long time ago, and it seems as though less and less effort is given as time passes. Read Full Review
