That's a good plausible fight, no problem at all with it! A few points have to be considered - I think Jim throws the shield using his Bionic arm plus it would be pretty powerful anyways when thrown in such a manner, then there's the fact Hyde does have an in-built clause in that his power can wane depending on the strength of the Formula he's using at the time - this goes back to Cap 252(?) where Hyde is overpoweringly strong compared to the previous occasion Cap met him and reveals that he was using an inferior potion on that occasion, I think it's been mentioned in Daredevil as well.. Mostly Hyde can be punchbag material, not unlike the Rhino, but he's fought Spider-man three times now and onlly the once was Spider-man able to beat him, mostly due to using the favorable environment. Then he's looked good against the Hulk before now, he really can see-saw in terms of power though....

Subject: Bah. That's comic writing and wouldn't work in a realistic battle... [Re: Dark Marvel] Posted Mon Dec 28, 2009 at 12:20:26 pm EST (Viewed 97 times) | |||||

When you have three regular humans fighting a guy that can throw a bus at you, I expect the superhumanly strong and durable chap to take the win. Outside of a comic story even a peak-human like Cap would probably find himself disabled after that trick. Certainly he would'nt be standing and would suffer serious injuries from his attack and be bench for a long time. In a CBMB battle, I'd put money on Hyde taking this fight.

Mr. Hyde is kinda like the opposite of Luke Cage. Cage's durability is generally higher than his actual strength level. Hyde's durability is generally below his strength level.
