Has this ever been done here before? This is a tough one, as these guys are probably the two biggest villains of their respective universes. I would say that Doom takes this one, but The Joker can certainly be very crafty (And he might have some superpowers as well. There have been some stories where he has had powers.). I think that this is a good one, but I favor Doom.

IMO this is a total mismatch. Only in some JLA cartoons do we see Joker operate at those kind of levels. Standard Joker doesn't have anything at all to stand up to Doom. Not only is Doom a genius level intellect (probably significantly smarter than Joker), but he has amazing technology that puts Batman's best gadgets to shame, and mystical talents that would easily defeat Batman's gallery of villains.

All that combined is just a complete and total blow out. The only way Joker wins this is with an absolute plot device "out maneuver" of Doom - which would defy everything about Doom.

This isn't a contest, its an extermination.

Which means JLA goes DOWN HARD!

Lex Luther would be a better comparison really.

Joker wins. Because he has something far more important than intelligence, his own country, a robot army, unimaginable wealth, a suit of armor, laser beams, magic or a time machine. He has luck.

You just cannot kill that guy. He's the ultimate cockroach.

with the mighty Batman and on occasion out-smarted Supes himself.

Surely he can take on Doom. ;\)

I see Batman swinging in to save the day! Doom has nothing to beat the bat-factor!

Indeed.

If Lex Luthor a mere mortal, can consistently beat the hell out of Superman, why not Bats to Doom?

Edit: Then I remembered this-

although this was due to 'fixed time' as a plot device.
