Subj: How did the Covid-19 lockdowns effect you? Posted: Mon Nov 01, 2021 at 07:58:33 pm EDT (Viewed 333 times)
With all the ups and downs over the past couple of years due to Covid I was curious on how it effected posters on these boards. News stories report the lockdowns actually helping some people while negatively effecting others. For me, I work in retail so my place of work stayed open. The negatives on it were an increased workload along with a higher rate of turnover than average over the past few years. One thing I never expected to happen is the change in attitude among the public. Usually, anyone working in retail regardless of position is kind of looked own upon. All of a sudden we are deemed "essential" workers which is something I never expected to happen. On the personal side, I became a hermit. I've never been the most extroverted of people so the few social activities I participated in were shut down. The few I was trying to get involved in like going to the gym or monthly movie membership plans were closed. Not much to do for months except stay home. On the plus side, I got back into my love of video games. How did the covid lock down effect you?
