Jessica Jones 007

This was actually a half decent installment. Pretty true to a typical JJ book minus the superhuman angle (save for a self destructing robot). Not any action - well, the generic tattooed-guy killing the Hill-LMD was blink n' blah. However, there were a number of decent dialogue dynamics with Jess and a number of characters...

Jess & the unseen liquor store owner. Did she actually make a purchase from him http://s11.postimg.org/3wgyqg25v/1491410370393.jpg or stay the sober momma.

Jess & the chauvinistic jackhole. Civil disturbances should be more her forte given her line of work and history.

Jess & Danny Rand. Sadly, absolutely no feelz for Iron Fist's series but on the other hand it was good to see a more recognizable handling of his character and his love for Jess.

Jess & Dani. Okay, that "TEE DEE" baby babbling went on for far too long and there was too much reliance on sub-text but the reunion with her daughter was heartfelt.

Jess & Luke. Did she actually get her explanation for her opening arc decisions said out loud to him or were the narrative boxes, like, merely subliminal body language as they looked in each others eyes as Luke left? It's probably the latter but hopefully LUke got the message - 'cuz it was a good message(confession) from one good guy to another.

Jess & Maria Hill. An A-List and recognizable client is a nice switch up to the opening arc unknowns. Plus, the epilogue made good bookend to the prologue for this arc's set up. Hopefully, the dead generic tattooed-guy that killed her had an intriguing client and it will be interesting to get chronologically caught up with Hill after getting the boot from SHIELD and before Secret Empire.
