Daredevil 025 (2017)
Average but dry. Significant advancements but action free.
Matt wins Supreme Court case so vigilante superheroes may now testify in disguise (the conditional details still need to be established). Matt reveals he threw the previous case on purpose which may be controversial for readers. Matt quits being DD 2.0... and goes back to being DD 1.0 with his classic red suit.
Legal loses. That might mean something if this guy is ever revisited by another writer.
Tombstone shows some of his long established previous supervillain backbone and stands up to Fisk.
Fisk is pizzed and has a Plan C to do... something after the fact. While his outrage was believable his productive options seem... none.
Foggy was there to share the moment beside his long established partner and friend.
The art felt subpar and maybe the script was too cerebral and esoteric because for readers' benefit only the Supreme Court broke out in surreal ninja combat mode while courtroom arguments were made all ONLY FOR THE READERS benefit. Oh, probably it was intended for the readers' to INFER on some far, far removed level that Matt imagined that was how this 'combat' was to win his case - but really it seemed sudden shake up to serve as a backup should the readers need a wake up call to balance all the word balloons. IMO, they actually should have left the S.C. judges MOCK 'action' out.
