Subj: Legends "Land of the Lost"...

I really liked Rip as a villain and I liked Sara as the Captain, but this episode jettisoned both of those things. \:\(

But it was still entertaining.

Comic relief Ray was on full display. They returned to the Cretaceous Era where he was stranded

Vixen and and Steel are getting closer but Ray warns him that she has a destiny she has to go back to. Do neither of them consider maybe Steel is actually a part of that destiny? They could easily look into it.

The stuff in Rip's mind like Sara fighting Sara was fun, but the CGI for Firestorm looked really cheesy for some reason.

Not sure what to make of Gideon as a woman in Rip's mind and Rip kissing her and real life Gideon somehow knowing about it. Reminds me of "the Doctor's Wife," but "The Doctor's Wife" was brilliant and this was just crap.

Why was the real Rip in a cell afraid of his friends? Evil Rip in the real world wasn't some kind of paranoid, he was just evil. I hate the implication that Eobard turned Rip evil just by scaring him. Evil Rip was much cooler than that.

Rory tells Stein he should be helping Jax to be more independent because Stein is old and won't be around long. This was bizarre since Jax is completely independent already. Jax has been the break out star of the team this season. Lots of episodes have been centered around him. Firestorm is largely an afterthought on this show. Jax and Stein could lose their powers tomorrow and be just as valuable to the team. Also, if Stein dies Jax would too unless they find another person who would be compatible to share the Firestorm powers with him.

There was a little preview at the end that the next episode is centered around Apollo 13. Sounds like it could be fun.
